The idea of Music as a healing influence goes as far back as the writings of Aristotle and Plato.
This presentation will explore some of those ideas and put them into practice. While we are not yet able to safely use our expressive musical talents, due to the pandemic, this will be an immersive hour of discovery into the ways that music is able to access our brains and bodies in ways that other modalities simply cannot.
All emergency dollars raised go directly to support of the work of our partners on the ground. Now, an anonymous donor to JEWISHcolorado will match each gift 1:2, up to $100,000 in the next 90 days. We have a goal of $300,000 by the end of 2022. As our partners rush to save lives, to reunite families, and to bring hope to fellow Jews, they need our support.
