Exploring Judaism together!

Since 2013, Jewish Explorers has been creating fun, inclusive, and experiential engagement and learning opportunities that welcome Jewish, multifaith, multicultural, and intergenerational families with preschool and elementary school-age children. Jewish Explorers helps to create meaningful pathways for families with young children through relationship-centered experiences that cultivate lifelong connection, a strong sense of belonging, and continued participation in joyful Jewish community throughout every stage of family life. We focus on three central Jewish values to guide our experiential engagement and learning opportunities in our classroom programs, and Shabbat and holiday celebrations.

Kavod: Respect for one another
Gemilut Chasadim: Loving-kindness

In our Family Program and K-5 program, we learn about and explore Jewish values, culture, traditions, and holidays and help connect this learning to our everyday lives. Together with our families, we are committed to creating a community where everyone feels welcome, connected, celebrated, and like they truly belong.

In addition to our monthly Jewish Explorers classroom experiences, families can also choose to engage in programming beyond our classroom experiences.

Shabbat & holiday celebrations: In-person experiences hosted in various locations throughout the year.
Outside Explorers: Opportunities for families to gather together outside of our classroom programs.
Adult Jewish Explorers: Opportunities for parents and grandparents to gather together outside of our classroom programs.
Community-Wide Engagement Events: Community-Wide Family Havdalah Celebration and Shabbat in the Park.
