Jewish Explorers
Central Park Jewish Explorers and Highlands Jewish Explorers are now Jewish Explorers EAST and WEST.
New name. Same great programs.
Why the name change?
“We’ve decided to update our name so that families know that our programs are open to everyone in the community and are not neighborhood specific. We invite families to join us from across the community and look forward to exploring Judaism together through classroom programs, Shabbat gatherings, and holiday celebrations.”
—Cindy Coons, Director of Jewish Explorers & Family Engagement
Exploring Judaism together as a community.
Since 2013, Jewish Explorers has been creating fun, inclusive, and experiential educational programs that empower Jewish and Interfaith families to find meaningful and relevant ways to practice Judaism in their homes and out in the community.
Through weekly and monthly classroom programs, Shabbat dinners, and holiday celebrations, Jewish Explorers teaches preschool and elementary school-age children and their families about Jewish values, culture, traditions, and holidays. Together, we have built a community that is warm, welcoming, and celebrates the diversity of our families and provides opportunities for families to connect with each other, the Colorado Jewish community, and Israel.
