Advocating for the Colorado Jewish community.
Rooted in shared Jewish values and an enduring commitment to Israel, the JCRC is the public policy arm of the Colorado Jewish community. The JCRC has 39 member agencies and 15 at-large members representing different parts of the Jewish community.
JCRC, a program of JEWISHcolorado, serves as the primary community relations and public affairs agency for the Jewish community throughout Colorado. As an active force in civic and communal life, JCRC operates as a central coordinating and resource body to:Â Â
- Provide a communal space to cultivate understanding and joint action amongst diverse groups within the Colorado Jewish community;
- Cultivate deeper relationships with the broader Colorado community to address critical issues and engender a shared society;
- Ensure the security and safety of diverse minority communities throughout the state in the face of rising antisemitism, intolerance, and hate; and,
- Foster understanding and appreciation for the Jewish community’s relationship with Israel, and to increase knowledge, exposure, and support for Israel among diverse groups of Coloradans.Â
