As our parents grow older – and as we grow older – parent-child relationships change. Adult children of older parents often feel like they just got a new job and they may overdo it, under-do it, feel overwhelmed, confused, or even resentful.
We will talk about resources that can help adult children navigate these changing relationships, with a special focus on executive coaching. Maggie Miller will explain and demonstrate what coaching is (and isn’t), and everyone – both children of older parents and parents of adult children – will leave this session with knowledge about this important resource.
Maggie Miller is an executive coach, a Certified Senior Advisor(R), and also evaluates programs for nonprofit organizations.
