Do holidays make you feel over-the moon or over-the-hill? Do you think this season is the reason or curse the commercialism? No matter where you fall on the spectrum of celebration, writing is the best way to express your feelings. Let’s read some holiday poems, then write our own poetry or prose to express our individual thoughts – be it Holiday Hoopla or the Doldrums of December. There are no right or wrongs when it comes to self-discovery. Let’s just write like no one (but ourselves) is reading. Jane Hillson Aiello has a playful way of encouraging everyone to leave with a poem or two, and a newfound appreciation of poetry.
