Event Details

During this 4-week session, we will explore the opportunities and challenges that we face as we reflect on the past year and transition into the High Holidays. Where have we come from and what intentions do we bring into the new year? Topics will include asking and offering forgiveness (tshuva), reflecting on what this time in life means, letting go and embracing new reality, setting intentions for living more mindfully, joyfully and compassionately as part of the aging journey. Together we will explore using mindfulness practices, journaling, meditation, art expression, study, and sharing as tools for connecting to ourselves and others.

Rabbi Eva Sax-Bolder served as the Rabbi of The Shul of New York until moving to Boulder in the summer of 2021. She currently serves as the Rosh Hashpa’ah, head of spiritual direction for the ALEPH Ordination Program, and maintains a private practice as a spiritual companion. Rabbi Eva has facilitated Wise Aging groups in synagogue and community settings for many years, integrating aspects of her training in meditation, mindfulness, mussar and the expressive arts.
