Event Details

The US Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) in Washington, D.C. selected 50 libraries across the country to display their traveling exhibit, AMERICANS AND THE HOLOCAUST. The Pikes Peak Library District is the only one selected from Colorado. The East Library Branch will display the exhibit from September 5 to October 11, 2023. The Greenberg Center for Learning and Tolerance (GCLT) is proud to donate classroom sets of books to accompany the lessons of the exhibit. Click here to find out more about the exhibit.

In support of the exhibit, GCLT is bringing two prominent speakers, Father John Pawlikowski and Mr. Scott Levin, to share about the building of the Washington, D.C. U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and antisemitism in today’s world. REMEMBERING FOR THE FUTURE will be held on September 20, 2023, from 6:00pm-8:30pm at the Celeste Theatre at Colorado College. The event will include remarks by the speakers, a Q&A, and a meet-and-greet dessert reception.

You are invited to join us for this free and important event! Registration is required. Donations to support the GCLT’s mission are highly appreciated and are tax-deductible.
