Culture is something everyone has. In this session, we will facilitate large and small group discussions, borrowing a technique from the theatrical production “Breaking Ice.” Our goal is to nurture insight into our personal stories, and the forces that shaped us. By better understanding and accepting our own cultures, we are more prepared to recognize and bridge cultural gaps with others.
This experience is intended to deepen our capacity to connect with our authentic selves and with others. This session is a part of our commitment to be an open and inclusive congregation, and has been planned by members of B’nai Havurah’s Racial Justice and Awareness Committee.
