The situation in Israel is always complicated and always changing, and it can be hard to initiate, much less contextualize, conversations about the country—its politics, its polity, and its people.
If you’re wondering how to talk to your teen about Israel, join JEWISHcolorado’s Israeli emissary Itai Divinsky and Dr. Daniel Hettleman for a frank presentation on navigating this complex and challenging topic.
Dr. Daniel Hettleman is a psychologist in a private practice in Denver, where he sees children, teens, adults and families in therapy. He has been teaching family therapy to graduate students at DU for the past 20 years, as well as consulting at local school and organizations. His work is informed by his Jewish practices and studies.
All emergency dollars raised go directly to support of the work of our partners on the ground. Now, an anonymous donor to JEWISHcolorado will match each gift 1:2, up to $100,000 in the next 90 days. We have a goal of $300,000 by the end of 2022. As our partners rush to save lives, to reunite families, and to bring hope to fellow Jews, they need our support.
