Join the JCC for Festo Festo’s Klezmer & Balkan Night October 26th!

Denver, CO – Step into an evening where traditional Klezmer and Balkan beats blend with vivacious dance and community spirit! Festo Festo, a roving monthly music concert and jam series, invites you to attend its upcoming event on October 26th, 2023, at the JCC Denver.

Event Details

Date: October 26th, 2023

Time: 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM (Doors Open at 5:45 PM)

Venue: Phillips Social Hall, JCC Denver

Tickets: Available on a sliding scale from $5 – $15 at https://www.jccdenver.org/portfolio-items/festo-festo/ 

Kosher-style vegetarian small bites will be available for purchase. Drinks are available for a suggested donation.

The night promises a rich lineup of musicians and dancers, featuring:

  • Upsherin, warming up the stage with their heartfelt tunes

  • Gora Gora Orkestar, transporting the audience with their Balkan beats

  • BalkanikaFolk Dance Group, bringing vibrant Balkan dance to life

  • A lively Community Jam Session – attendees are encouraged to bring their instruments and join in!

Music will begin at 7:00pm.

A Festive Night for a Cause

This special Festo Festo event will feature a fundraising raffle with a range of incredible prizes. Raffle prizes include a one-night stay at the Art Hotel, a signed cookbook from the acclaimed Alon Shaya of Safta, artwork from local artists, Denver museum and zoo tickets, gift cards, and much more. All proceeds will benefit the inception of KlezKolorado, the inaugural weekend-long Klezmer festival set for May 2024 at the JCC Ranch Camp. 

Engaging Activities for All

In addition to the music and dance, attendees can immerse themselves in an interactive, collaborative art project, celebrating the blend of creativity and community that Festo Festo is known for.
