Fanning the Flames of the Dream

We welcome you to attend our 19th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulder County Community Celebrations 2024 themed, Fanning The Flames Of The Dream. This insightful program will feature an inspirational keynote address by Dr. Reiland Rabaka (back by popular demand), music and dance, and spoken word by talented youth and area performers. This program is presented by the NAACP Boulder Branch, Second Baptist Church, Longmont Multicultural Action Committee, and the Museum of Boulder.

– Keynote address by Dr. Reiland Rabaka (founder and director of the Center for African and African American Studies (CAAAS) at the University of Colorado, Boulder)
– Music offered by famed jazz pianist Purnell Steen and The Five Points Ambassadors
– Tribute to Brenda Lyle – Boulder County’s Living Legend
