Boulder JCC ReelAbilities International Film Festival 2023

ReelAbilities Film Festival is the largest festival in the U.S. dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories, and artistic expressions of people with disabilities. Founded in New York City in 2007, the festival presents international and award-winning films by and about people with disabilities in multiple locations throughout each hosting city. Post-screening discussions and other engaging programs bring together the community to explore, discuss, embrace, and celebrate the diversity of our shared human experience.

ReelAbilities Film Festival at the Boulder JCC is for everyone including those with disabilities, disability advocates, artists, allies, and more. It is the Boulder JCC’s hope to bring this programming to our community while creating relationships and partnerships with those who have disabilities and those who advocate for disabled communities. Please reach out to the Boulder JCC if you desire more programming of this nature. 

Join us for a full day of film, talkbacks, community resources, and socializing (Registration gives you the entire day to come and go as you please). All films are available in-person AND virtually.

In an effort to reduce single-use items, we encourage you to bring your own water bottles, utensils, and other serving pieces to all programs at the Boulder JCC. We are grateful for the partnership of our community in our commitment to sustainability
