Join us for a fascinating lecture given by Sophia Berry Lifschitz, curator at the Department of Modern Art at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. The talk will begin with a short introduction to the history of the Museum with its unique connection to the establishment of the State of Israel. We will continue with a virtual walking tour through the Modern Art galleries focusing on major works by Roy Lichtenstein, August Renoir, Marc Chagall, and Gustav Klimt – works that tell the unique story of how the Modern art collection came to be.
