This program is designed for all teens, grades 8 – 12, who are interested in sustainability, farming, and cooking. Each Tuesday after school, teens are invited to join us on-site at the JCC’s Milk and Honey Farm. Students will learn a variety of skills such as cheese making, soap making, food preservation, and chicken and goat care (including our newest baby goats!). We follow the Jewish calendar with fun activities and events scheduled to celebrate the holidays.
This program will be held weekly for three months in the Fall and again for three months in the Spring. Together we will grow in community as we grow food.
All emergency dollars raised go directly to support of the work of our partners on the ground. Now, an anonymous donor to JEWISHcolorado will match each gift 1:2, up to $100,000 in the next 90 days. We have a goal of $300,000 by the end of 2022. As our partners rush to save lives, to reunite families, and to bring hope to fellow Jews, they need our support.
