Tallit Making Workshop: Topic 1: Introduction and Sewing
May 20 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm MDT
In this workshop series, we explore the halachic and practical aspects of making a Tallis or tallit. There are 3 content weeks offered 2x per month across the summer. You may sign up for the days and times that work for you in each topic week. We have many folks interested and are limiting each sign up date to allow for rich participation with support for remote or in-person modalities.
When:
Topic 1: Introduction and Sewing, May 20 (4:30-6:30 pm) or May 24 (10 am – Noon)
Topic 2: Decorating the tallit, June 17 (4:30-6:30 pm) or June 28 (10 am – Noon)
Topic 3: Tying your tzitzit and blessing the tallit, July 26th (10 am-Noon) or July 29th (4:30 – 6:30 pm)
