October 7th: Remembrance and Reflection

Join JEWISHcolorado, the University of Denver Center for Judaic Studies, and our community partners as we mark the three-year anniversary of the 2023 Hamas terrorist attacks against Israel with an evening featuring acclaimed author and journalist Matti Friedman.
We gather at this pivotal moment before Israel’s national elections that also serve as a focal point for ongoing reckoning and commemorations.
The night begins with a poignant service of remembrance, in partnership with the rabbis and cantors of Colorado, followed by the launch of our annual lecture series examining some of tough issues facing the Jewish people today. We’ll welcome author, journalist, and Israeli Matti Friedman.
