Boulder JCC: Protecting Houses of Worship
February 21, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm MST
Clergy, community leaders, volunteers, and congregational staff of all faiths are invited to join this program co-hosted by the Boulder JCC, the US Attorney’s Office, the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office, and local law enforcement agencies to learn about how to protect our sacred spaces. Refreshments will be served.
The objectives of the program are:
- Encouraging an initial conversation about implementing a security program
- Offering best practices for faith-based security
- Networking and community outreach
- Providing resources, including components of a sound plan and examples of plans
- Responding to community concerns
