Step up to the plate for a fun, family-friendly evening of baseball, inspiration, and community!
Start the night with a live talk from former MLB catcher Ryan Lavarnway, followed by a screening of Israel Swings for Gold, and stay for a Q&A with Ryan after the film.
Ryan is a retired 10-year Major League Baseball player, a member of the 2013 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox, and former Captain of the Israeli National Team. He also represented Israel in the Olympics. A 2019 inductee into the Southern California Jewish Sports Hall of Fame, Ryan is now a sought-after speaker who shares a powerful, relatable journey of embracing Jewish identity and finding strength in community. His engaging, family-oriented talk—featuring his children’s book The Golden Ticket—inspires audiences of all ages.
