Foundation Manager

Position Summary

The Foundation Manager is the public face of JEWISHcolorado’s Foundation and is responsible for raising funds for Jco programs and endowments, servicing and maintaining accounts, and strengthening the organization’s role as a trusted leader for the Colorado Jewish community in donor-advised funds and planned giving. This position focuses upon maintaining existing accounts in the near term, and in future will grow to solicit new Foundation assets through learned experience in the field of philanthropy, planned giving, and financial planning. This position collaborates with staff, lay leaders, fund holders, and partner agencies to integrate planned giving into all fundraising activities. Thorough knowledge of Jewish culture and the Jewish community are essential, and the person in this role is in expected to progressively expand their knowledge and capacity, taking on increasing responsibility over time, with eventual responsibility for all aspects of Foundation management and growth.

Israel & Overseas Center Manager

Position Summary

The Israel & Overseas Center Program Manager is responsible for communications, along with administrative and logistical support to ensure the effective implementation of programs within the Israel & Overseas Center (IOC) at JEWISHcolorado. They work closely with Israeli emissaries, Israel missions, team members, and external stakeholders both in Israel and Colorado to write communications, facilitate program operations, and achieve organizational goals.

Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of Colorado Senior Director

Position Summary

The Senior Director position reports to the President & CEO and is an outward-facing leadership role that works closely with community members, lobbyists, and the Colorado State Legislature elected and non-elected officials to advocate for Israel and the Jewish people. The Director oversees and utilizes the membership of the council, conducts local and state advocacy in conjunction with partner organizations and lobbying staff, and works with local volunteers to advocate on behalf of the community on a range of issues.

The successful candidate for this position must be able to collaborate across differences and be the Jewish voice in coalitions and public forums through a working knowledge of Jewish values, history, heritage, culture, and ideals. They should be entrepreneurial, with an ability to create programs and processes to improve and sustain the organization. The candidate must be comfortable in a variety of interfaith and intergroup environments and must be able to supervise program development, fundraising, and overall operations in a non-profit, government, or similar environment.
