Wishing you a safe, warm, and meaningful Hanukkah

Dec 14, 2023

Dear JEWISHcolorado Community,

The symbolism of Hanukkah reminds us of the hope that is inspired when darkness gives way to light. Your light has been our hope, and we cannot thank you enough for your unwavering support. Thanks to your unprecedented generosity, in 2023, you enabled JEWISHcolorado to:

  • Raise more than $6 million locally for our Israel Emergency Fund to support relief efforts in Israel.
  • Help more than 600 Colorado high school students combat antisemitism through our Jewish Student Connection program.
  • Connect 2,400 Coloradans with our Israeli emissary.
  • Facilitated dozens of conversations with legislators and community leaders on issues of critical importance to our Jewish community and the state of Israel.
  • Empower and protect over 2,000 members of our community through safety and security training and countering active threats through our partnership with the Secure Community Network.

This Hanukkah, as we use one candle to light the others, we ask that you consider the impact one gift to JEWISHcolorado can have on so many. We need your support now more than ever.

Your donation to our Annual Campaign allows us to respond immediately in times of crisis while addressing existing and increasing needs at home in Colorado.

We hope you enjoy a safe, warm, and meaningful Hanukkah. Chag Sameach.

With immense gratitude,

Ben Lusher, Board Chair
Neil Oberfeld, Campaign Chair
