In this week’s parsha, Noach, we read about a man who is called to build something lasting. Amid chaos and uncertainty, Noah takes on the quiet, steady work of constructing an ark, an act of preparation, faith, and care for the generations to come.
Â
It’s easy to think of Noah’s story as one of survival, but it’s also a story of legacy. His effort wasn’t only about protecting his own family; it was about preserving the future, making sure that life, values, and hope could continue.
Â
That same spirit lives in those who give thoughtfully, who plan for the future through legacy gifts, endowments, or donor-advised funds. Each of these acts is a kind of ark: a vessel built today to sustain what matters most for tomorrow. Through philanthropy, we safeguard the institutions, values, and community that we hope our children and grandchildren will inherit.
Â
At The Foundation, we are proud to help families build their own arks — creating meaningful legacies that ensure Jewish life in Colorado remains strong for generations to come.
Â
If you’d like to explore how your philanthropy can build an enduring legacy for our community, we’d be honored to help you begin that conversation.
