JEWISHcolorado Celebrates Another Successful Jewish Days of Giving Campaign

May 21, 2026 | Article, Newsletter, Press Release

JEWISHcolorado, in partnership with the Colorado Gives Foundation, hosted the third annual Jewish Days of Giving, serving 53 organizations and successfully raising more than $895,000. “What started as a creative idea from a donor three years ago has been transformed into a community-wide program that infuses nearly a million dollars into the Colorado Jewish nonprofit community,” said JEWISHcolorado President & CEO Renée Rockford.

JEWISHcolorado created Jewish Days of Giving to strengthen Colorado’s statewide Jewish community through collective philanthropy. The online giving campaign raised awareness and generated critical support for participating organizations.

In addition, JEWISHcolorado organized a Community Match Fund to ensure that every participating organization received $1,000 in matching funds. This was made possible through the generosity of Rabbi Eliot and Dr. Hilary Baskin, Stuart & Jill Bombel, Miriam Grynberg, Bob and Diane Hochstadt, Robert Kantor & Laura Boyd, Brian Ratner and Patricia DeAngelis Ratner, and anonymous donors.

Mona Spitz, Director of Development of Temple Sinai said, “Temple Sinai is deeply grateful to JEWISHcolorado for providing a matching gift opportunity, and to our many loyal supporters who made this year’s Jewish Days of Giving such a tremendous success. Building on the momentum of last year’s campaign, we attracted new donors, qualified for the match, and exceeded our overall fundraising goal.

“It was especially gratifying to hear from congregants who called to check on our progress and generously offered to help close the gap so we could reach our goal. Their enthusiasm and commitment reflect the values and spirit of our community. Thank you, JEWISHcolorado, for strengthening and uniting the Jewish community across Colorado.”

“Our community showed up in a powerful way. With 74 donors coming together in support of Congregation Har HaShem, we are reminded that every gift — no matter the size — helps sustain the vibrant Jewish life we’ve built over 60 years in Boulder,” said Shira Keshet, Director of Development, Congregation Har Hashem. “We are deeply grateful to JEWISHcolorado and the Colorado Gives community for championing organizations like ours and making moments like this possible.”
