Jewish Explorers

Exploring Judaism together as a community.

Since 2013, Jewish Explorers has been creating fun, inclusive, and experiential educational programs that welcome and empower Jewish and multifaith families to find meaningful and relevant ways to practice Judaism in their homes and out in the community. We focus on three central Jewish values to guide our experiential learning opportunities both in and out of the classroom.

  • Hachnasat Orchim: Welcoming everyone with friendship
  • Kavod: Respect for one another
  • Gemilut Chasadim: Loving-kindness

In our classrooms, we explore Judaism with our students and their families, learning about Jewish values, culture, traditions, and holidays. Together with our families, we are committed to creating a community where everyone feels welcome, celebrated, connected, and like they truly belong.

In addition to weekly and monthly Jewish Explorers classroom experiences, our families can also choose to engage in programming outside the walls of our classrooms.

  • Shabbat & holiday celebrations: In-person experiences hosted in various locations throughout the year.
  • Outside Explorers: Opportunities to engage with families from your program outside of the classroom.
  • Adult Jewish Explorers: Learning opportunities for parents, grandparents, and other important adults in your children’s lives.

Support this or any JEWISHcolorado program or initiative by using our Donation Form and choosing your preferred designation. If you do not see the program you want to support listed, email Jenna Raimist, Director of Annual Campaign, to make your gift.

“Thank you for creating a warm and welcoming space for our children and family. We are grateful for the kindness you show our children (and our family) and for the fun and creative learning opportunities that help shape our children’s Jewish identity and connections to Judaism. We love how much our children love coming to Jewish Explorers!”
