(DENVER) — From May 19–21, 2025, JEWISHcolorado, in partnership with the Colorado Gives Foundation, hosted the second annual Jewish Days of Giving, serving 45 organizations and successfully raising nearly $415,000.
Jewish Days of Giving is a powerful initiative dedicated to supporting and strengthening Jewish life across Colorado.
JEWISHcolorado organized the Community Match Fund, a special initiative that ensured every participating organization received $1,000 in matching funds. This was made possible through the generosity of Huntington Bank; Rabbi Eliot and Dr. Hilary Baskin; Bob and Diane Hochstadt; Wendy and Ed Nekritz; Brian Ratner and Patricia DeAngelis Ratner; Cintra Pollack; and anonymous donors.
Elyana Funk, Executive Director of CU Boulder Hillel said, “I was grateful to have the opportunity for CU Boulder Hillel to partner with JEWISHcolorado for the Jewish Days of Giving this year. Not only did the campaign support our organization with the generous contributions of community members who want to show up for Jewish college students, but also it gave us the powerful momentum of being part of the larger Colorado Jewish community’s impact. JEWISHcolorado made the process clear and easy, and I appreciated their partnership in making our participation a reality! “
Cecile Zelinsky, Chapter President, Hadassah of Greater Denver said, “Our Hadassah Greater Denver chapter is so appreciative of the opportunity to participate in this statewide fundraising opportunity. Thank you for offering us such thorough guidance in managing the technical aspects of the online event. Your workshops, and your staff were valuable in making it a smooth and successful experience. We are very grateful for the opportunity.”
Rabbi Kolby Morris-Dahary of Har Mishpacha: The Jewish Congregation of Steamboat Springs said, “At Har Mishpacha, we are so proud to be part of the JEWISHcolorado family of organizations. It’s truly wonderful to be part of a Federation that uplifts and supports all Jewish organizations across Colorado – from the Front Range to our little corner of Northwest Colorado. The Jewish Days of Giving campaign is an incredible opportunity for our small congregation. Not only does it allow small donors to make a big impact, but it also helps us share the vibrancy of Jewish life in our community with the wider world. We are deeply grateful to JEWISHcolorado and to all the generous donors who made the matching funds possible. Thank you for helping us grow. We look forward to being part of this meaningful campaign for many years to come!”
