Retreat for Jewish Healing from Divorce

Later this month (August 21-24), in partnership with the Denver JCC, we will be hosting a weekend retreat at JCC Ranch Camp.
Many Jewish adults navigating divorce find themselves without the spiritual support and community connection they need during a deeply challenging time. Divorce & Discovery seeks to offer a compassionate response—rooted in Jewish wisdom and ritual—to help individuals heal and feel held by their tradition.
The goal of these four-day retreats is to provide a space for people experiencing divorce or separation to build community with others who are on a similar journey. Attendees find meaningful healing through Jewish rituals that have been adapted to speak to this moment in their lives.
“The best part about the experience is that we all shared a similar divorce journey and I think a lot of us were ready to let go of the guilt, shame and blame. Doing it in a Jewish context created meaning and also allowed me to recuperate what I had lost: a connection with Judaism during this time of loss.”

As many of us know, healing is not linear, so we welcome anyone, regardless of where they are on their journey through divorce or separation.
