Hebrew in a Day

Join instructor Risa Aqua for this fantastic chance to immerse yourself in Hebrew.
Whether you’re an absolute newbie or a slightly rusty reader, this 9-4 low-pressure intensive will help you grow in skill and confidence through a variety of modes of study: singing, movement, games, lecture and chevruta (partner) study. By the end of the day, expect to be able to follow along in Hebrew during synagogue prayer and songs.

• Transliteration: Use it like a pro
• Basic Blessings and the Blessing Formula
• What does it mean? Intro to roots and building blocks
• Special segment with Rabbi Katie

Lunch, coffee, “Shalom Hebrew” textbook and all other materials provided. Students should bring writing utensils and note paper or notebook.
