Boulder JCC: JParent: How do you Jew – Israel, Zionism, and the Jewish Homeland

$15Explore the deep, evolving relationship between the Jewish people and the land of Israel. This course traces the connection from its biblical roots through centuries of exile, longing, and prayer to the modern rise of Zionism. Together, we will examine how history, theology, and culture shaped the dream of a Jewish national home and how that vision materialized into the modern State of Israel. Designed for learners of all backgrounds, this course offers an engaging environment to discuss core concepts, diverse Zionist perspectives, and the enduring identity of the land within Jewish life today.

About Danny Sherwinter
Danny Sherwinter is an intellectual property attorney with a background in electrical engineering and aerospace innovation, having co-invented patented techniques as an R&D project manager at Boeing. As a recognized “Super Lawyer” and a law professor at the University of Colorado, Danny has made his mark advising startups and global companies alike. Danny has taught Jewish subjects extensively in Hebrew schools and adult education settings, and he remains an active participant in his local Jewish community.
