An Evening with Holocaust Survivor Leon Malmed
Join us for an evening with Holocaust survivor and author Leon Malmed, as he shares his powerful story of survival, silence, and resilience.
Born in France in 1937, Leon was just five when his parents were arrested by the Nazis and deported to Auschwitz. Hidden by neighbors, he survived the war in silence- and decades later, began speaking publicly, publishing his memoir We Survived… At Last I Speak in three languages.
Leon will share his personal journey, followed by a Q&A and book signing. Copies of his memoir will be available in English, Spanish, and French.
