Join the JCC Denver for their annual ‘Todah’ celebration!
Maybe you remember your B’Mitzvah as the most fun, most whimsical, most memorable event of your young adulthood. Maybe you think back and wish it had been…something different. Or perhaps, you never had one, and have always wished you could have experienced this unique coming-of-age event. Well, now you can.
This year at the JCC, it’s time to party like it’s your B’Mitzvah. We’ve outgrown the sit-down, buttoned up, formal celebration that you may have come to expect. Instead, we’re envisioning the kind of mingling, munching, and mishigas of a Mitzvah fit for your wildest dreams.
It’s time to reconnect with your “inner child” and jump headlong into an evening of unabashed fun! Bring your J game, Mitzvah style, to this year’s Todah celebration.

Enjoy a delightful evening with author Jean Meltzer as she enlightens us about her third novel, Kissing Kosher. Stick around for a Q&A and book signing following the conversation!
In the book, the heir to a kosher baked goods empire goes undercover at a family-owned Jewish bakery in order to steal their world-famous Pumpkin Spiced Babka recipe. But when garnering the secret recipe means drawing closer to the granddaughter working the counter – a woman struggling with intimacy issues due to chronic pelvic pain – both come to discover that the best recipe for love, intimacy, and babka… is the one you bake yourself.
