JEWISHcolorado today announced that Lisa Mintz will be honored with the Golda Award. This prestigious award is named for Golda Meir, the prime minister of Israel from 1969 to 1974. Honorees for the award are chosen by a body of their peers, and the honor is bestowed upon a Jewish woman in Colorado who exemplifies extraordinary leadership and community involvement, and who inspires others to serve.

Mintz recently completed eight years of service on the JEWISHcolorado Board of Directors, where she held multiple leadership positions, including Annual Campaign Chair and Women’s Philanthropy Chair. As Campaign Chair, she helped raise more than $14 million and oversaw two successful Signature Events, generating support for a variety of JEWISHcolorado programs

As Women’s Philanthropy Chair, Mintz played a key role in bringing the Dignity Grows project to Colorado. This initiative, co-chaired by Mintz, aims to combat period and hygiene poverty. In 2023, she was recognized as JEWISHcolorado’s Volunteer of the Year. Mintz has also served as CHOICES Co-Chair and International Lion of Judah Conference Recruitment Chair.

In addition to her local impact, Mintz has served on the National Women’s Philanthropy Board of the Jewish Federations of North America, representing Colorado on a national stage.

Mintz also served as President of Temple Emanuel’s preschool and Co-Chair of the Temple’s 150th Gala Event last year. She also serves as Community Liaison on the Board of Trustees of Denver Jewish Day School.

Mintz will be honored at JEWISHcolorado’s CHOICES event, presented by the organization’s Women’s Philanthropy division on January 27, 2026, at the Seawell Ballroom at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
