JEWISHcolorado Women’s Philanthropy will host CHOICES on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Seawell Ballroom, Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The evening will feature keynote speaker Juju Chang, Emmy Award–winning co-anchor of ABC News’ Nightline, and will honor Lisa Mintz with the prestigious Golda Award for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the community.
Juju Chang is one of America’s most recognized journalists, known for her powerful storytelling on Good Morning America, 20/20, and ABC News’ Nightline. Her award-winning reporting spans critical issues from anti-Asian violence and immigration to mental health and gender-based violence. A Stanford alumna and longtime advocate for AANHPI communities, she brings a unique perspective on resilience and leadership.
Chang will share her personal journey to Judaism, reflections on raising three sons in a blended Korean and Jewish family, and the historical parallels between Asian hate and antisemitism, urging greater solidarity between the two communities.
“CHOICES has always been about the power of women choosing to lead,” said Roberta Witkow, Director of JEWISHcolorado Women’s Philanthropy. “We are thrilled to welcome Juju Chang and to celebrate Lisa Mintz, whose vision and dedication have strengthened Jewish life in Colorado.”
The program will also recognize women leaders of Denver’s largest Jewish communal organizations including Linda Foster of Jewish Family Service, Lindy Eichenbaum Lent of Rose Community Foundation, Elyana Funk of CU Boulder Hillel, and Susan Rona of ADL. CHOICES 2026 is co-chaired by Adriane Greenberg and Carly Schlafer.
