Kavod on the Road: Jazz Standards and Israeli Folk Songs

For this program we will be presenting a mixture of our favorite jazz standards and melodies from Israeli folk songs interpreted through a jazz lens. The repertoire will include classic arrangements of the American songbook by artists such as Ahmad Jamal and Oscar Peterson and re-imagined versions of well-known folk songs from Israel, presented by our special guest, tenor saxophonist Adam Gang. Adam Gang-Saxophone Jack Dunlevie-Piano Patrick McDevitt-Bass Kevin Matthews-Drums. Light refreshments. $10 in advance.
