Holding Liat: Film Screening Premiere in Steamboat Springs

$18Join us on the evening of Tisha B’Av, the Jewish day of mourning, for a powerful screening of Holding Liat: a deeply personal and timely documentary about one family’s story of loss and resilience following the October 7th attacks.
The film follows Liat Atzili and shares her accounts of captivity in Gaza as well as her family’s experience of advocating for her release and navigating Israeli society during time of trauma, war, and hope.
As we reflect on centuries of Jewish tragedy and perseverance, this film offers a modern lens through which to honor grief and renew our collective commitment to compassion and justice. All are invited to witness this powerful film and take part in a meaningful evening of reflection, connection, and conversation.
The screening will be followed by a talk-back designed to explore the film’s themes and invite thoughtful conversation.
