Volunteer opportunities in the Colorado Jewish community
The Volunteer Connection provides meaningful service opportunities that impact the lives of both volunteers and recipients and promotes the growth of trustful relationships among people and agencies in the Colorado Jewish community. Your generosity makes a difference.
For organizations, agencies, & individuals
Ongoing volunteer opportunities
You will receive training prior to participating in the Shop & Drop and Chesed Calls initiatives.
Shop & Drop
Buy groceries or run errands for isolated individuals.
Chesed (Wellness) Calls
Make friendly check-in calls to individuals who may be isolated in the community.
Can’t commit weekly? We still need your help! Sign up for one of our Volunteer Days. JEWISHcolorado Volunteer Days are opportunities to connect with new and old friends while supporting our Jewish community and beyond.
Upcoming volunteer days:
YAD Thanksgiving Volunteer Day – Wed, Nov 25 (for young adults and young adult families)
Christmas Mitzvah Project – Dec 23, 24, 25
Volunteers are considered essential services and, with caution and care, it is safe to help those more vulnerable than ourselves. Sign up to volunteer with JEWISHcolorado, a community partner, or another local nonprofit. You will need to register directly with each organization.
The work of volunteers is vital, and we take your health and safety seriously. Follow CDC guidelines on how to protect yourself, and if you are feeling ill or exhibiting symptoms, please stay home. If you would like to get involved but cannot participate in-person, consider virtual alternatives to in-person volunteer activities.
