PJ Library to the Rescue!
Over 200 PJ Library Summer (survival) Kits were delivered to families in metro-Denver and Boulder this past week. JEWISHcolorado volunteers dropped off the goodies, in their brightly colored beach buckets, at front doors, on porches and stoops, and in apartment lobbies. The kits, which contain a scavenger hunt, a magnifying glass, sun screen, sunglasses, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk, aren’t just a party in a pail; they help teach kids about tzedakah and tikkun olam, as well as the importance of finding beauty and good in the world and taking care of yourself (those sunglasses aren’t just cool; they protect your eyes!).
The June PJ Library Summer Kit Project was sponsored by Eric Drucker, The Littleton Real Estate Company.
