Kol Nashim Women's Choir: Woman to Woman 2022

Kol Nashim, the women’s choir of the Colorado Hebrew Chorale presents “Woman to Woman 2022” its first in-person concert since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. This annual concert, which benefits the Jerusalem Shelter for Battered Women, will be held to Tuesday, May 24, 2022,
7:00 pm MDT at the Hebrew Educational Alliance, 3600 S. Ivanhoe Street in Denver.  The program will also be live-streamed. 

The Jerusalem Shelter has been serving abused women and their children for 40 years. It provides physical haven and emotional security for women from all over the country regardless of religion, race, nationality, age, education or economic situation.

The Woman to Woman 2022 concert will celebrate the strength of women and children through song. Kol Nashim will be joined by the Colorado Hebrew Chorale, directed by Carol Kozak Ward,  and will feature Eitan Kantor, the new music director of HEA. Two new pieces by Kol Nashim’s pianist Nili Abrahamsson will be premiered. There will also be a US premier of a video presentation celebrating the Jerusalem Shelter’s 40^th anniversary.

The program is open to the public. Tickets cost $18 donation and will be matched by an anonymous donor.
