Passion and Perseverance: A conversation with Dr. Rachel Brem
Dr. Rachel Brem, internationally known breast cancer expert, is changing the face of breast cancer through her clinical and advocacy work, her guidance on the BRCA gene mutation and her recently released book, “No Longer Radical,” written to help women evaluate treatment options when medical history puts them at risk for breast cancer.
Her mother’s diagnosis with breast cancer when Rachel was just twelve years old inspired her to dedicate her life to curing breast cancer, which she began doing after graduating from Columbia Medical school at 24. At 37, Dr. Brem faced the same diagnosis and used her fight against and victory over the disease to further empower her work.
Please join us for a webinar conversation about her extraordinary mission and journey.
Dr. Rachel Rabinovitch will co-facilitate the talk with our director, Matt Wynia.
The event is via Zoom on Tuesday, October 24 from noon – 1:00.
