Kol Nashim, the women’s choir of the Colorado Hebrew Chorale announces the resumption of in-person rehearsals at the Hebrew Educational Alliance, 3600 S. Ivanhoe St. Denver. PARTICIPANTS MUST BE VACCINATED and provide a copy of their vaccination card to jancolorado@comcast.net. According to current COVID-19 guidelines, masks must be worn by all participants, and rehearsal schedules may be subject to change.

Kol Nashim, under the direction of founder Leah Peer is a non-auditioned treble choir (soprano and alto), The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings 6-8 pm, No knowledge of Hebrew is necessary to participate. Open rehearsals are scheduled to take place Sept. 2 and Sept. 9. Qualified singers ages 13 are invited to participate.

Leah will also present a monthly Zoom program, “Text and Context,” beginning Sunday, Sept. 19, 7-7:45 pm.  The program will focus on the poetry and other writings related to the KN repertoire. Choir members will discuss the texts of the songs we will be singing.
