Easy: Meet at HEA parking lot at 7:30 AMNative Legend Loop Trail, 3 miles, 206 ft elevation changeNear Castle Rock, about 30 minutes from the HEAKid friendly, leashed dogs, wheelchair accessibleThere are several interpretive stations along the route
Moderate: Meet at HEA parking lot at 6:30 AMPlymouth Mountain Trail in Deer Creek Canyon Park, 6 miles, 1460 ft elevation changeAbout 30 minutes from the HEADogs on leash, views, hike through fields and cedar forests
Hard: Meet at HEA parking lot at 6:30 AMManitou Incline Trail, 4 miles, 1978 ft elevation gainAbout 1.25 hours from the HEA plus a short bus ride to the trail head!!!Reservations
for this trail are required! There is no charge, but spaces are
limited. You can make your own reservation for 8:30 AM at https://coloradosprings.gov/parks/page/manitou-incline!!!

  • Reservations
    can easily be cancelled if you change your mind so if you are at all
    interested you should make the reservation because they are filling
    fast.
  •  All
    the elevation gain is in the first 1.1 miles, average incline is 45%.
    There are 3 bailout points along the incline.
