Event Details

Wise Aging, is a 5-week program, geared towards women ages 60 years and older starting on September 1.  The program will explore the opportunities and challenges we face as we transition through the ‘third act of life.’ This program invites participants to embrace life and live more mindfully, joyfully, and compassionately as part of the aging journey. Together we will explore using mindfulness practices, journaling, meditation, art expression, study, and sharing as tools for connecting to ourselves and others.

Lori Dube is a social worker and life coach trained in Jewish Mindful Meditation, and Wise Aging facilitation. She led a number of virtual Wise Aging groups for the Boulder JCC and around the country during the Pandemic and is excited to facilitate her first in-person group.

Rabbi Eva Sax-Bolder served as the Rabbi of The Shul of New York until moving to Boulder in the summer of 2021. She currently serves as the head of spiritual direction for the ALEPH Ordination Program and maintains a private practice as a spiritual companion. Rabbi Eva has facilitated Wise Aging groups in synagogue and community settings for many years, integrating aspects of her training in meditation, mindfulness, and the expressive arts.

It is strongly recommended to buy the required reading  Wise Aging before the start of the group.
