Event Details

We’re looking for volunteers to help out at Milk and Honey Farm! You’ll have the opportunity to dig, weed, plant, and harvest our tzedakah (donation) garden, educational garden beds, and geodesic dome greenhouse. The produce you help grow is donated or used in educational programs. Last year we were thrilled to be able to donate over 4,000 pounds of produce to Boulder county community members experiencing food insecurity. During breaks, volunteers are welcome to spend time with the goats and chickens on the farm.

Volunteer shifts are every Monday and Thursday morning from 8 – 11 am beginning on May 2. You can join us as often as your schedule allows and you just need to register once.

Milk and Honey Farm is a 2 acre educational sustainable farm located on the campus of the Boulder JCC. The farm brings the community together for experiential programs and activities grounded in Jewish heritage, tradition, and values. The farm provides a place for individuals to connect on the simplest level with soil, plants, animals, and each other.

Please reach out to Farm coordinator, Rachel Albert, with any questions about Milk and Honey Farm and volunteering.
