Event Details

As American citizens, part of our shared civic is to wrestle with American history, especially the legacy of bigotry and racism. Doing so need not diminish our pride as Americans, individually and collectively. We can confront injustices to learn from them and respond with action in service of the common good.

What: A day of fasting in mindful reflection, dialogue, prayer, atoning for and overcoming past and present injustices, inspired by the Jewish Day of Atonement. The day’s activities will culminate in an inclusive gathering of civic leaders, elected officials, and representatives from a diverse array of secular and spiritual organizations and communities.

In-person at Iliff School of Theology or live-streamed on Vimeo.
