“Text and Context”- Baruch She’asani Isha

Leah Peer, Musical Director of Kol Nashim, the women’s choir
of the Colorado Hebrew Chorale is presenting a monthly Zoom program, “Text
and Context.” On Sunday, Oct. 17, 7:00-7:45 pm she will discuss
“Baruch She’asani Isha” (Blessed Who Made Me a Woman) by the late
Israeli poetess Esther Rabb which was set to music by Nili Abrahamsson.
Kol Nashim premiered the piece at its “Raisins and Almonds” event in
Jan. 2020. The program is free and open to the public.
