Jewish Federation missions are travel experiences unlike any other. Join us as we explore the past, present and future of the Jewish people in locations as diverse as Israel, Poland, Latin America and the former Soviet Union. UJA Aspen Valley invites you to be a part in a journey of a lifetime. Engage with new friends from across the country, see firsthand how your philanthropic support is impacting Jews around the world and connect meaningfully with your heritage.
What makes each mission truly unique is its sense of purpose, guaranteeing our travelers a heightened appreciation and connection to their Jewish identity.
Our missions aren’t passive experiences. They’re active adventures, engaging the mind, heart, soul, and body. You’ll witness firsthand the extraordinary efforts of organizations like the Joint Distribution Committee and the Jewish Agency for Israel while discovering and responding to the challenges facing Jewish communities today.
Mark your calendars for these exciting travel opportunities!
IST is More Than a Trip. It’s the Journey of a Lifetime!
The Joyce Zeff Israel Study Tour (IST) is one of the premiere Israel teen trips and is the longest running annual community-based Israel trip in the U.S. The program began in 1971 and has sent over 2,500 students to Israel.
The trip comprises an educational program that is divided into three parts: Trip Prep during the 11th-grade year, Travel during the summer between 11th and 12th grade, and Post-Trip Integration and Community Activism.
