Bradley A. Friedman is the new Director of Endowment and Planned Giving for the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado. Federation President & CEO Doug Seserman made the announcement.
Friedman most recently served as the executive director of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Prior to that, he spent 15 years as an attorney in private practice.
Friedman is a graduate of The Colorado College and received his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law. He was admitted to the Bar of the State of Colorado in 1986.
Friedman is well known in the Jewish community having served on the boards of the Anti-Defamation League, Colorado Agency for Jewish Education, and the Federation. He is also on the Board of Trustees of The Colorado College and is currently the president of their Alumni Association Board.
Asked about his new position, Friedman said, "It is a tremendous honor to become only the third director of this program in Federation history. With that honor, comes
a tremendous responsibility to build on the work done by others and the generosity of our current donors. I am looking forward to building a ‘Jewish Community Endowment' that will help secure the future of our Jewish community in Colorado, Israel and around the world."
Seserman said, "Brad brings a wealth of experience to his new role both from his many years of law practice as well as his track record of volunteer service in the Denver Jewish community.
In his new position, Brad will combine his passion for the Jewish community with his knowledge and enthusiasm for the field of charitable planned giving. His work at the Federation will play a significant role in building and sustaining Jewish life in Colorado, Israel, and around the world for generations to come."
