Over the last few decades, the importance of local history has come to be recognized  and the Jewish experience in Colorado has been a vital part of the growth and development of our state.  Studying how, when, and why Jews came to Colorado, how they made a living, and the various organizations they founded will give greater insight into understanding of Colorado today and the people who participated in its founding and growth.
