About Rose Community Foundation

Rose Community Foundation is one of Colorado's largest foundations, granting approximately $13 million annually within the seven-county Denver/Boulder metropolitan area. With a mission of improving the quality of life in the community, the Foundation makes grants in five areas:

  • Jewish Life
  • Health
  • Education
  • Child and Family Development
  • Aging

Rose Community Foundation was formed in 1995 from the sale of Rose Medical Center, an institution that was created and supported over nearly a half century by Jewish philanthropy, and earned a reputation for excellence in serving the entire community. The Foundation strives to uphold these values through its grantmaking and by building partnerships with nonprofit organizations and institutions to make our community a better place. In addition to grantmaking, the Foundation's Donor Services Department is available to assist individuals and families in their charitable activities.
