Women’s Philanthropy

Women’s Philanthropy of JEWISHcolorado brings together women from across Colorado to maximize their collective power and make an impact on the future of our community locally, in Israel and overseas.

Jewish Women’s Philanthropy Committee (JWPC) is the driving force of volunteer leaders who engage women of all ages and interests in social, philanthropic opportunities, educational programming and events. JWPC oversees four areas of work:

  • Philanthropy
  • Gratitude
  • Community Service
  • Outreach/Engagement

Signature JWPC projects include Community-Wide Sharsheret Pink Shabbat, Lion and Pomegranate Lunch & Learns and Cocktail Parties, a Women’s Philanthropy site at Christmas Mitzvah Project and the annual Choices event. JWPC holds monthly meetings where their leaders have the opportunity to learn in depth about JEWISHcolorado, the Colorado Jewish community, and plan various programming. Through a governance process, JWPC nominates and welcomes new members each year, with a total of twenty members annually. There are numerous opportunities for additional community members to take on leadership roles through sub-committees, events and programs.
