Still In The Game—A Staged Reading Celebrating Longer Lives
Enjoy this comedic drama about aging with courage and honesty. Still in The Game is professional staged reading of widower David’s story as he begins a new life chapter after having served well as caregiver for his wife who died of cancer. David wants to look for romance, try to connect more with his adult daughter Dawn and remain in charge of his life.
Still in the Game is a powerful conversation starter about aging in America, and especially recommended for: older people and their adult children (attending together encouraged), all caregivers and everyone involved in the caregiving community.
A brief “talk back” led by director Angela Astle and playwright Robert F. Benjamin, will follow the reading. Cost: $10
Wednesday, May 16 – 7:00 pm at The JCC Denver/Phillips Social Hall, 350 S. Dahlia Street, Denver
RSVP: Suzi, 303.316.6358, firstname.lastname@example.org
