UJA Aspen Valley is honored to once again support a group of heroes from Israel for 2018 Golshim L’Chaim – Ski To Live, for the week of February 20-27. These injured IDF veteran soldiers look forward to this life changing opportunity to learn to ski and snowboard in Aspen. Through experiencing the challenges on the mountains, they gain confidence, serenity and exhilaration. This program offers participants the ability to feel renewed and invigorated upon their return to Israel, with life changing memories.
These dozen brave men and women made enormous sacrifices on behalf of The State of Israel. We thank them through this program, uniting Aspen and Israel in a most gratifying way.
For the 10th year, the Roaring Fork Valley community has the opportunity to interact with Israeli guests during the week’s activities. Challenge Aspen runs the adaptive ski program and many community leaders volunteer as ski instructors. Your participation makes the soldiers feel appreciated, and you will be inspired. The experience will warm your heart and touch your soul.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in this very worthwhile endeavor.
